More about Our Services

Advanced Care Planning

We assist with advanced care planning utilizing Five Wishes, a national advanced care planning program. Five Wishes is legally recognized in New York State and is written in language that is easy to understand. It involves documenting five wishes that outline your wishes for care at the end of life.

Vigil Plans & Music Playlists

We work collaboratively with you to help document vigil plans and/or music playlists. This may involve planning for who might be with you, where you would like to be, what the place might look, smell and sound like. This may also involve planning an activity for visitors. We also assist with executing vigil plans.

Legacy Projects

We provide guidance and assistance in creating legacy projects. While this is something that is commonly done towards the end of life we encourage anyone to begin a legacy project. These projects vary from person to person and range from simple to extravagant. Examples of legacy projects include: video journals, scrapbooks, websites, donations, annual events and more.

Ritual Planning

We assist in creating, planning and documenting your wishes for end of life rituals. If requested, we can also assist in end of life rituals.

Movement & Meditation

Grief is a BIG feeling. It shows up differently from moment to moment. The ancient practice of yoga allows us an opportunity to slow down and connect with our breath and body, where grief lives. Yoga offers us a unique opportunity to honor and explore our grief. Meditation and movement sessions consist of a check-in, movement, meditation, rest and a closing circle. Sessions are offered for individuals and small groups. All meditation and movement sessions are led by a Registered Yoga Teacher. These are yoga sessions. They are not therapy or medical services.

Grave Tending

Tending to a loved one’s grave is a way to continue to care for your loved one. Sometimes this is not possible for family members or friends due to geographic locations, physical limitations, or other reasons. We offer grave tending services which can include general care and maintenance, planting, and sending pictures, if requested.
